A Central Coast, Newcastle & Hornsby family photographer with a passion for birth photography.
I capture natural moments, connections and memories between you and your loved ones. From family sessions, maternity, birth, to newborn and events! I'm a big believer in collecting as many memories as you can, as before you know, photos are the only thing we have to remind us; exactly how we looked, how we loved and how we shared with one another.
I specialise in birth photography as I am passionate about birth, motherhood and all the beautiful first moments included in watching your family grow. The birth space is where I belong, and when you find the right birth photographer for you they become an added support person. I feel so strongly about this that I have thrown myself into doula training and working towards becoming a certified prenatal, birth & postpartum doula.
With years of experience on the Central Coast, Newcastle & Hornsby along with a deep appreciation for the power and beauty of birth, I document the raw emotions, tender connections, and profound moments that unfold during this extraordinary event. From the intimate labouring process to the miraculous first breath, I am committed to preserving your birth story.
I believe that birth photography goes beyond capturing images; it is about creating a visual masterpiece that conveys the love, strength, and vulnerability that surround the birth of your child, for you and your family to cherish for generations to come.

"Hiring Furner Photography was the best decision I have made.
I felt so comfortable with Emma from the first phone call & even got to meet her bub Humphrey during our pre-booking catch up! I was so lucky to secure a spot for my birth. I was able to detail my preferences with the client form i.e what was to be captured & level of engagement etc Em regularly stayed in contact with me. Particularly during my third trimester- just checking in to see how I was feeling. I was able to contact Em at all hours of the day after my waters broke at home & even to ask for advice re: my latent phase.
When I went into hospital to be induced- I had anticipated a long labour being my first baby but Em made sure she was close by in the area & maintained constant contact. I was sure I had hours & hours to labour but Em used her birth knowledge & suggested she come in based on my progress. She arrived perfectly in time & captured everything we had discussed & more.
Em was my 2nd support person and I truly appreciated her being with me in such a special time. We received a few gorgeous pics after just a few days & our complete gallery a few weeks later. I couldn't believe the number of quality photos Em took & I treasure every one. It's an incredible feeling got see your own birth from the external perspective and I couldn't recommend anything more.
